Demolition of a Building: Application for Reduction of Taxes

Upon application, the Municipality has the authority to reduce the taxes levied on a property when a building has been demolished or removed from the property (Section 357, Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25). 

If you wish to apply for an adjustment of taxes due to demolition, please provide the following information no later than February 28 of the year following the demolition.
